A standard variation on oatmeal in our house is; microwave quick or old fashioned oats (per package directions). Add cold applesauce, cinnamon and raisins. Our kiddos gobble this up and the cold applesauce helps cool the oatmeal for a quick morning breakfast!

Awesome idea.....we will try this (sans cinnamon, we seem to have a skin reaction to it)
